Sustainability through Innovation: REDUCE, REINFORCE, RECIRCULATE, RENEW

NYTRO® BIO 300X is derived from renewable hydrocarbons sourced from waste biomass. Unlike other bio-based alternatives such as esters, it avoids conflicts with land use, food crops, and freshwater resources.

  • RENEW: Renewable raw materials reduce the consumption of non-regenerative resources.
  • REINFORCE: The unique bio-based hydrocarbon liquid features superior oxidation stability, which strengthens the longevity of the transformer.

Performance Increase and Capacity Upgrade

A field experiment with a 24/30 MVA transformer showed impressive results. By switching the oil to NYTRO® BIO 300X, the hot-spot temperature alone was reduced by 9 °C. In combination with additional fans, the hot-spot was reduced by as much as 16.1 °C at rated capacity.
